You’ll be working towards gaining your GCSEs as well as a qualification in Broadcast & Digital Media – with the option of studying the English Baccalaureate thrown in too.
And it’s all real-life stuff, with projects set by local employers or the Academy itself. You might be designing apps, directing music videos, producing live radio, computer games or websites. Wow! What’s more, all of our qualifications are fully approved by Ofqual.

Alongside GCSEs, you’ll be working towards a vocational media qualification we’ve developed specifically to build the skills and knowledge required to progress within the creative industries.
You'll be studying three linked qualifications in Creative iMedia, ICT and Business & Enterprise. This will involve creating digital graphics, animated films, TV shows in our live TV studios and, of course, creating radio broadcasts. In addition to this you will be learning how to develop apps and content for online to show off your productions in your creative digital portfolio. All of this will form part of your career plan that will be devised from the understanding you gain of business and enterprise, leading you to complete the course with your very own start up business planned, with a great website and some amazing media productions to promote it.
